Supersprint Downpipe als Partikelfilter-Ersatz für zahlreiche BMW-Modelle der F- und E-Baureihen, darunter F10/F11, F01/F02/F03, F07 GT, F30/F31, F32, F33, F34, F36, F06, F12/F13, E70 X5 sowie E71/E72 X6 – ausschließlich für den Motorsport- und Rennsporteinsatz.
Die Komponente ersetzt den serienmäßigen Partikelfilter und wird ohne EG-Zulassung geliefert; eine Straßenzulassung besteht nicht. Der Lieferumfang umfasst die Downpipe (Art.-Nr. 989511) als einzelne Komponente ohne weitere Wahlmöglichkeiten.

Für dieses Bauteil liegt kein Gutachten für den deutschen Markt vor. Der Einsatz ist auf abgesperrtem Gelände sowie im Motorsport vorgesehen. Für einen Betrieb im öffentlichen Straßenverkehr wäre eine Einzelabnahme nach § 21 StVZO erforderlich, deren Erteilung nicht zugesichert werden kann.
Supersprint fertigt seit 1955 in Mantua, Italien, Abgasanlagen aus Edelstahl. Jede Anlage wird fahrzeugspezifisch entwickelt, von Hand verschweißt und auf die serienmäßigen Aufnahmepunkte abgestimmt; die einzelnen Komponenten lassen sich zu Teil- oder Komplettanlagen kombinieren.
